She requested that her 4th grade picture be used for her obituary but her family also wanted to include her nursing picture. As a result of his hard work he was requested to move to Olathe and help with the construction of I-70 and I-35. He attended St. Josephs Catholic Grade School and Nortonville High School in Nortonville, graduating in 1964, and then went on to receive a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education in 1969 and a Masters of Science in Education in 1971 from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Bob and Margie worked for many years to help restore the C. L. Hoover Opera House. She was preceded in death by her son Brian Warnica; her parents, Harold and Margaret Connet; brothers Gerald and Merle Connet. He left home for war on Christmas Eve in 1944. In his later years he enjoyed his time at the Senior Center socializing and playing cards and bingo.
