This seems like a such simple creature to photograph, but since I’ve been back in Canada, without an iguana to spot in the trees, I’ve become “snap happy” with the squirrels, the Red Squirrel, to be exact. I’ve enjoyed spotting them during walks on the park trails, running to and from and up and down the trees, and even in the backyard of my parents’ house. I don’t always have my camera on me when I spot them, so there’s been a lot of instances when I’ve only been able to observe their jumpy behaviour…and the only thing I can think of when I try to describe it is that it reminds me of a spooked cat on a huge dose of caffeine.
